Freud's Dream Circle; an installation by Janet Patterson. Lino print on card. 2011
The installation was exhibited as part of 'Dreams' an East London Printmakers exhibition at the Freud Museum, 20 Maresfield Gardens, Swiss Cottage. London NW3 5SX. The installation has been acquired by the Freud AMuseum and is now in their collection.
A playful unique installation entitled 'Spring curtain' created for the exhibition 'Spring' to be held at Formans Smokehouse, Stratford, East London - an exhibition organised by Katja Rosenberg of Artcatcher. The installation is made from recycled old bed/sofa springs which are painted jaunty and joyful colours, each spring taking on a personality of its own; it follows the concept of Spring, and of rejuvenation and resurgence. The springs are suspended from a beam and give the effect of a curtain of colour.
